In Country H, following revisions to the Juvenile Law, minors convicted of serious crimes were sent to “rehabilitation facilities” (juvenile reformatories). However, in reality, these were merely nominal punishments where violence reigned supreme.

High school student Gen Amemori, subjected to daily bullying, finally faces an injustice when his beloved dog is mauled to death by the dog of Kanemoto, the ringleader of the bullies. Enraged, Gen inflicts serious injuries on Kanemoto and is sent to the reformatory. There, he is mistreated as one of the lowest-ranking inmates, but eventually meets Shinya Koujou, the facility’s strongest fighter, who drills “the art of survival” into him. With his daily life stolen and his dignity trampled, Gen vows to carve out his own path through reality with his fists. Will he be swallowed by the spiral of violence, or will he fight back and break free?
