One day, Sumire Yaotome, a student at the music conservatory in the city, decides to change schools to escape from her daily life.
She heads for Nagano Prefecture, to a town lined with villas and resorts, where she finds a place to stay at Cafe Primrose. A quiet space lined with once-shiny instruments and infused with the faint aroma of coffee. However, despite the relaxed atmosphere, the cafe is on the verge of bankruptcy.

The cry for help comes from from Momo Momose, the girl who runs the cafe all by herself. Inspired by the instrument left by her grandfather, the former owner of the cafe, the chill and sometimes whimsical Momo wants to rebuild the cafe with the help of her friends and fill it with music.
