Hanamaru Den

Tetsumaru Hanada has just entered Sakuragaoka Middle School. One day, he sees the girl he likes, Nagano, being harassed by some older students — but he can’t bring himself to do anything. He can only watch in awe as his classmate Akira Kimoto takes down the bullies with impressive judo moves. Believing Kimoto to be the rival he’s been searching for, Hanamaru decides to join the judo club too. However, tough training awaits him, since he has never practiced judo before. A sincere and energetic coming-of-age story — the passionate youth of Hanamaru begins!
